Heung-min Son has now overtaken Cristiano Ronaldo in all-time goal standings

Squawka have now provided a list of Premier League legends who Son Heung-min has now outscored, including the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba.

Even though Son is widely considered to be one of the best forwards around at the moment, the South Korean is perhaps not often included in the conversation about all-time greats.

However, the 31-year-old’s goal record suggests that he should very much be in that conversation.

With his hattrick against Burnley on Saturday, Son now has 106 Premier League goals to his name, which puts him at number 30 in the all-time top scorers list (Premierleague.com).

The forward could move into the top 20 goalscorers in the competition’s history by the end of this season if he finds the back of the net 16 more times in the league this campaign.

The South Korean has 148 goals across all competitions for Spurs, which means that he is the club’s sixth-highest goalscorer of all time, sitting ahead of the likes of Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Teddy Sheringham.

Son could quite easily finish with over 150 career Premier League goals and move into the top 10 highest goalscorers in the competition’s history.

Let us hope that the forward also has some silverware to show for his time at Tottenham as he certainly deserves that, given the loyalty and commitment he has shown to the club.
