Bryan Gil of Tottenham Hotspur is currently on the sidelines recovering from surgery.
The Spurs star had surgery in August to repair a groin injury and will miss the start of the season.
Gil had hoped to impress new Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou, but he has been unable to do so due to injury.
Gil’s message contained emojis of an hourglass, a flexed bicep, an arrow with the word,’ and a football.
In our opinion
Gil spent the second half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Sevilla after spending the first half of the season at Valencia.
Gil’s injury has also put an end to the chance of another loan until the January transfer window.
However, if Gil is able to return from injury shortly, he will have three to four months to try to impress Postecoglou at Hotspur Way.
Gil joined Tottenham in 2021 and showed flashes of tremendous quality, prompting Graham Roberts to refer to him as a “little superstar.”
Although he hasn’t really been able to get going, let’s hope he recovers quickly and completely and is able to impress the next Spurs manager.
