Son Heung-min issues a warning to Tottenham’s rivals after receiving £47.5 million. Tottenham captain Son Heung-min says he can’t wait to play with £47.5 million deadline-day addition Brennan Johnson and believes the squad will be even more dangerous with him on board.
The two players could face off in a friendly match in Cardiff on Thursday evening when Johnson’s Wales take on Son’s South Korea.
Following international duty, the pair will line up together for the first time as Spurs look to continue on their good start under Ange Postecoglou against Sheffield United at home on September 16.
“Brennan is yet another newcomer. “He demonstrated his quality last year at Nottingham Forest, and I can’t wait to see him with my own eyes,” Son said of his new teammate, who will be expected to cover some of the goals hole created by Harry Kane’s departure this summer.
“He’s a very good player with a lot of talent.” Hello and welcome to the Spurs! I’m excited to play with him.
“It’s only been four games, and we’re hoping to keep the momentum going with our new signing Brennan.”
“When he comes to Spurs, he wants to improve and advance.” He will feel the pressure, but I can’t wait for him to join our team and help us play even faster and more attacking football.”

Son took over as captain of his country in 2019 and led them to the round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Son has been named captain of the Tottenham Hotspurs.
Following Kane’s move to Bayern Munich last month, he was given the same role at Spurs.
“It’s an honor and a privilege to be captain for club and country,” said Son, who scored a hat-trick in Tottenham’s 5-2 win over Burnley last weekend.
“Being a captain is about more than words. It is via actions.
“I have to prove to my teammates and the team that I can be the team’s leader on and off the field.”
“With my country and at Tottenham, I have great players around me.” It was fantastic to score over the weekend.
“But I’m always calm, and I never rush when I don’t score for a few games because I have a team of ten behind me, and that’s why we all love football.” They help me grow as a person, player, and captain.”
