Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane sends a two-word Instagram message to Tanguy Ndombele.
Last night, Harry Kane posted a two-word message on Instagram to Tottenham Hotspur loanee Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele is expected to return to north London following a season-long loan spell with Napoli. The 26-year-old was instrumental in Luciano Spalletti’s side winning their first Serie A title since 1990.
He made a total of 40 games in all competitions, although he struggled to find a place in the Napoli lineup.
Tottenham are preparing for what appears to be a busy summer transfer season, and Ndombele’s future at the club will definitely be decided.
And, as the Frenchman prepares to return to Spurs in the coming weeks, Harry Kane has sent him a social media message.
Ndombele receives a message from Kane.
Ndombele shared three photos of himself on Instagram with the description ‘Playtime’ yesterday night.
Kane replied beneath the post, “Big boss,” with an eyes emoji.
After struggling to establish himself as a regular starter under Spalletti, it appears quite improbable that Napoli will elect to maintain Ndombele.
Of course, the Italian manager appears likely to quit the Naples club, but they appear unwilling to use their option to sign him.
Tottenham are considering terminating Ndombele’s contract during the summer, according to SportMediaset.
Spurs will have to make some important decisions this summer, particularly about Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, and Sergio Reguilon.
After being shut out by Antonio Conte last year, Ndombele and Reguilon have failed to impress during loan periods this season.
It remains to be seen whether a new manager will attempt to reintegrate them into the team. Spurs have struggled to transfer the trio permanently in recent years, but their roster is in desperate need of a makeover.
